Emeline and Francis are both asleep. They've kind of curled into each other a little.

I suppose I ought to have a quick shower and go start sorting out Nunnally's outfit for tonight, I'm not letting her miss out just because of this surprise.

Everything is in place for Nunnally's surprise party.

Sayoko will be in charge of the final preparations, while I take her for a little birthday lunch treat. Everyone should be in our apartment by 2pm if you're coming as that is when I will bring her back.

Anyone spoils the surprise and I will be displeased.

Also ensure any gifts are appropriate both for her age, for my temper and that they will be things she can use given her difficulties.

Nunnally's hallowe'en costume is now all modified, she just tried it on and she looks a vision.

Are people going to be taking pictures at the event? I would like to ensure we get images to show her for when her vision returns.

At least I don't have to go as a woman this year and no, before you suggest it ~~Suzaku~~, we're not doing another bet.

I won't be around later, Sayoko and I are taking Nunnally costume shopping. It is hard to find things for her that she can wear in her wheelchair so we need to do it soon in case I we need to make modifications to it before 31st.

Lenalee, if you want to come with us, you'll be very welcome. We're leaving at 5.

I'm exhausted!

I woke up in the middle of my pillow and it took all my energy just to get across it and then jump onto my bedside table to get my journal. Odd how this resized as well but I have learned to not look for logic where this school is concerned.

Can someone check on Nunnally?! If she has been affected, it will scare her and I can't get down from here.I can try climbing down my bedspread...but if I slip...

Why would something tease us like that? She regained her sight, her ability to walk and now it has been snatched away from her again.

Just how much more does she have to go through?

I'm so happy right now I can't even compute it. I got out all the photo albums Millay made of us when she dressed us all up at Ashford and here and she got to see what we all experienced.

I always hoped she'd regain her sight and her ability to walk but this...

I think I like Lenalee.

I'm not sure what I should do, I haven't dated a girl since leaving Japan - Misa and Chii don't count - and my relationship with Kiyomaro ended rather abruptly. Still, I wasn't as upset by that as perhaps I should be. I don't like being somebody's second best. It was just a bonus to what I wanted, after all.

I'm unsure as to her relationship with Walker. They seem very close although I haven't noticed romantic overtones, she does seem exceptionally protective of him. I don't think I need to worry there really, he seems rather obliviously in love with that Tonks girl.

She is a lovely girl though and she likes Nunnally, which is the most important thing.

I should maybe ask her when we're making the food for the picnic...maybe.

It appears everyone has been enjoying the food we've prepared. It is a little odd being one of only two males helping but I am rather enjoying it nonetheless.

Especially when I can take some home for Nunnally and Sayoko, they have been enjoying it as well. Nunnally seems to enjoy the fitness week. Although she cannot see it, she likes hearing people's reactions.

Well we have arrived back and are now finished unpacking.

Nunnally has jet lag so I should go get her to bed to sleep.

Such a productive trip. I even managed to get better feeds set up between myself and C.C. to give her directions even more easily. Everything is going according to plan.
